Terms of Use for Tahaqaaq

Last Updated: 23 September 2026

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Tahaqaaq mobile application (the “App”), operated by Anass Lebkhaiti, operating Tahaqaaq (تحقّق) (“Tahaqaaq”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the App.

2. User Accounts
Some features require an account, including Google Sign-In. You are responsible for your account and must notify us of unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and Payments
The App uses a freemium model. Paid subscriptions, where offered, are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play and processed by the platform and our subscription provider, RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew according to the platform terms unless cancelled through your store account.

4. License and Restrictions
We grant a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App on a device you own or control. Do not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, sublicense, redistribute, scrape, overload or misuse the App, or use it unlawfully.

5. Hadith Verification Disclaimer
Verification results are informational and educational first-line guidance based on available references. They may be incomplete or incorrect, are not a fatwa, and are not a substitute for qualified scholars or specialised sources. We do not guarantee exhaustive coverage or error-free results.

6. Barakah Break — Android
Barakah Break is an optional self-management feature. You choose supported apps and one shared daily allowance. When it ends, a break surface may appear over a selected app. You may complete the chosen dhikr counter target for additional minutes according to your setting, or choose Leave app to return to Home without earning time. The allowance renews at 3:00 a.m. local device time.

Only selected apps are covered; Home, Android settings and unselected apps remain available. You can pause Barakah Break in the App or turn off “Tahaqaaq · Barakah Break” in Android Accessibility settings. The feature may be affected by Android, device, battery and manufacturer restrictions.

After an in-app disclosure and your affirmative consent, Barakah Break uses Android AccessibilityService window-change events and the active app package name to measure time in selected apps and show the break surface. It does not request screen-content retrieval and does not read messages, passwords or typed text, take screenshots, or record keystrokes. The counter records taps only; it does not listen to, verify or judge your recitation. Barakah Break is not a security lock, parental-control tool, medical device or accessibility tool for people with disabilities, and is not guaranteed to block every app in every condition.

7. Intellectual Property
The App, its original content, features and functionality remain the property of Anass Lebkhaiti, operating Tahaqaaq, and its licensors, protected by applicable law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the extent not prohibited by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for the App or fifty US dollars, whichever is lower.

9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or where necessary to protect the service.

10. Governing Law and Platform Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You must also follow the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play platform from which you downloaded the App.

11. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Questions may be sent to anass@tahaqaaq.com.

Barakah Break on iPhone (version 2.1 pending App Store review)

On iPhone, Barakah Break is an optional personal screen-time feature. You authorize Apple Screen Time, select apps, and set a shared daily allowance. When that allowance ends, Apple’s shield appears only on those selected apps; Home, Settings and unselected apps remain available. The allowance renews at 3:00 a.m. local device time. You may complete a dhikr counter target for more time, pause the feature in the App, or revoke Screen Time authorization in iPhone Settings. This is not a security lock and cannot guarantee uninterrupted blocking under every iOS or device condition.
